City Council Office

The City Council is the policy-setting and legislative branch of city government. The Council authorizes public improvements and expenditures, adopts regulations and ordinances, levies taxes and adopts the annual budget. Under the Plan E Charter, the City Council consists of nine members elected at-large every two years.
