Healthy Harvard Square
Harvard Square is always evolving to serve the needs and tastes of residents, students, visitors, and working professionals. To better understand the character of Harvard Square and support its diverse commercial mix, the Economic Development Division conducted a series of community discussions during 2005 and 2006 about maintaining a Healthy Harvard Square. This initiative is a part of the Division’s effort to promote thriving commercial districts citywide, and it aims to ensure that Harvard Square continues to be a vibrant tourist destination while meeting the needs of the community.
