Hunt for the Golden Shoes
Each May, Golden Shoes are hidden throughout Cambridge in places where people walk. People who find an official Golden Shoe can follow the attached instructions to claim a FitKit prize package featuring walking goodies, and items donated by local merchants.
The event inspires people to get out, get active and explore the city. Shoes will be hidden in wheelchair accessible locations. Shoes may be hidden at other GoGreen Month events and/or at some of our sponsor's locations.
If you find a Golden Shoe, call the phone number on the attached tag, and leave a voicemail. You will receive a returned call with instructions for claiming your prize!
The event is sponsored by The Cambridge Pedestrian Committee, Cambridge Health Alliance, Cambridge Community Development Department, and GreenStreets.
