Memorial services

The Municipal Firefighter Examination consists of two components: the Written Examination and the Entry Level Physical Abilities Test. Candidates must take and pass both components in order to be placed on the eligible list for appointment in a civil service city or town.

The written exam will be held on April 16, 2016.  The early application deadline is March 1, 2016, with an application fee of $200.  Applications will be accepted no later than March 21, 2016, with a fee of $250. The City of Cambridge will hold a Candidate Open House information session Tuesday, February 23, from 6 - 7:30 p.m., at Cambridge City Hall, Sullivan Chamber, 795 Massachusetts Avenue
