Description

GLBT meetings are open to the public and we welcome anyone and everyone to join us. Meetings are usually held on the 4th Thursday of the month (no meetings in August and December. Also, the November meeting is on the 3rd Thursday) from 6:00-7:30 p.m., at Windsor Street Community Health Center, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 119 Windsor St., Cambridge.

The mission of the Cambridge GLBT Commission is to advocate for a culture of respect and to monitor progress toward equality of all persons with regard to sexual orientation and gender identity. We are committed to promoting and monitoring policies and practices that have a positive effect on the health, welfare, and safety of all persons who live, visit, or work in the City of Cambridge with regard to sexual orientation and gender identity.

The main focus of the Commission is:

  1. Help address the needs of GLBT seniors,
  2. Help address the needs of GLBT Youth, and
  3. Work with the Police department and Emergency service departments.
