Description

The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra welcomes you and your family to a joyful celebration of the season!

Music Director Cynthia Woods leads the orchestra in a concert featuring seasonal favorites and standards with guest artist Vira Slywotzky, an audience sing-along, and even a special appearance from Santa himself to narrate a familiar holiday story.

The CSO welcomes back the student musicians from Perkins School for the Blind (led by Music Director Arnie Harris), who will perform side-by-side again this year with the CSO players at the concert. Before this concert, the CSO will also bring the full orchestra to the Perkins campus to perform with the musicians in their own hall. This unique collaboration with our longtime partners at Perkins is supported by the James W. Rollins Charitable Trust and the Boston Bruins Foundation.

Concert highlights include Broadway songs like “Anything Goes” and holiday classics from “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” to Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.
