Description

Dancer and choreographer Twyla Tharp headlines the weeklong Lesley University Creativity Forum that celebrates the important role of creativity across all disciplines. Tharp has choreographed more than 160 works and has been awarded the National Medal of Arts, the Kennedy Center Honors, a MacArthur Fellowship, two Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, and 19 honorary doctoral degrees. Her work has had a pervasive influence on younger choreographers and has expanded the boundaries of contemporary dance.
