Description

Paint with Words: Nature Writing for All Ages - with Sarah Tuttle

1-3pm, meets at Maynard Ecology Center located in Neville Place , 650 Concord Ave.

In this family-friendly workshop, participants will write a concrete poem about something they observe at Fresh Pond. A concrete poem is a poem in the shape of its subject—a picture made out of words. The workshop will be led by local children’s writer Sarah Tuttle. All ages welcome. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Come with your family and friends or by yourself to try out this fun poetic form—no rhymes required!
