Description

The purpose of this informational meeting is to provide Cambridge residents with an opportunity to learn more about the I-90 Allston Interchange Project.  This is a Mass DOT highway project that will straighten the Massachusetts Turnpike in the area of the Allston toll-plaza with the goals of reducing traffic, improving safety and enabling all-electronic, open-road tolling.  Rail, bus, bicycle and pedestrian improvements may also be included as parts of the project. Mass Dept of Transportation (DOT) officials will be on hand to discuss the project and answer any questions. This meeting is being jointly hosted by The City of Cambridge, Cambridge City Councillor and State Rep. Timothy J. Toomey Jr., State Rep. Livingston and the Cambridge Legislative Delegation.

For more information, call Rep. Toomey’s office at 617-722-2380.
