Description

The Cambridge Fire Department has obtained funds from the State to help older citizens make their homes safer, and will be working with the Council on Aging in this process. Trained safety instructors will come into your home or apartment to check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, install them where needed, replace batteries if necessary, install automatic night lights where needed, and check your homes for fire safety and fall prevention issues and make you aware of any dangers they see. Firefighter and instructor Jerry Bernardo will be running the program for Cambridge Fire and will be present to tell you more about it and answer questions.

This program is for seniors 60+.
