Description
The Ordinance Committee will conduct a public hearing on a re-filed zoning petition by the City Council originally filed Michael Phillips, et al to amend Section 17.20 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Cambridge as follows by increasing the setback requirement abutting Linear Park and to clarify language defining “form and density compatible with the adjacent residential neighborhood” by limiting the number of dwelling units in a single structure. The petition would create a new Section 17.26 - Access to streets, a new Section 17.27 - Transfer of Development Rights, a new Section 17.28 - Transfer of Development Rights to preserve Publicly Accessible Open Space, and amend Section 17.28.2 to include Special District 2 in the Areas of Special Planning Concern. This hearing to be televised.
