Domestic Violence Vigil

Description

A candlelight vigil will be held on the steps of Cambridge City Hall in observance of national Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The vigil will commemorate Massachusetts women, men and children who lost their lives this year to domestic violence. Local groups will have resources for victims and information for the community on how to recognize and talk about domestic violence.

The vigil is sponsored by the Cambridge Police Department, the Cambridge Public Health Department and the Cambridge Women’s Commission.

Visit the public health department's website to learn more about domestic violence prevention.
