Description

Flying Turtles and Talking Bears: Animal Adventure Tales
Come celebrate indigenous cultures through participatory stories, songs and a circle dance. Hear the story of "The First Bats" (Maya), "How Turtle Flew South for the Winter" (Dakota) and "The Wisdom of Nature" (Swahili). Participants sing along to the accompaniment of guitar and drum and dance to the rhythm of rattles. Performer Michael Caduto, who is well-known for his cast of humorous action characters and animated voices, will immerse you in the world of stories.
