Petition continued (3rd time) from September 18th P&C hearing. Comcast still has not received permit from Mass DOT. Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following: Monsignor O’Brien Hwy. Place new 3’x3’ Comcast manhole over existing underground Comcast conduit at the south east corner of Water St. Trench approximately 1,140’ westerly on Monsignor O’Brien Hwy ending at the Somerville line on Monsignor O’Brien Hwy. Three additional Manhole’s will be installed along the path including 6 lateral trenches to the property lines of 201,215, 225, 239 and 241 Monsignor O’Brien Hwy installing 1-4” PVC to each. See drawing for details.
New Petition: Comcast 55 Concord Street, North Reading, MA for the following: 10 Cambridge Center – Place 1 new Comcast manhole over existing Comcast conduit system in front of 10 Cambridge Center. From new Comcast manhole location, trench 31' westerly then turning northerly 10' to PP line of 10 Cambridge Center installing 1-4" conduit. This will include the removal and replacement of 2 sidewalk panels.
Petition continued (1st time) from September 18th P&C in order to obtain DCR permit. Lightower Fiber Networks, LLC, 80 Central Street, Boxborough, MA 01719 for the following: 245 First Street starting at the building at 245 First St., place approximately 166’ of 4” Communication Conduit to Nstar MH3384 (48’ being on private property).
Petition continued (3nd time) from September 18th P&C hearing as Nstar has not heard from other utilities to coordinate work. Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA Reservoir Street – Northeasterly from Pole 581/6, approximately 115 feet southwest of Highland Street, a distance of approximately 122 feet – conduit. Reservoir Street – South from Pole 581/9, approximately 110 feet north of Highland Street, a distance of approximately 165 feet – conduit. One new manhole MHC29891. Highland Street – Westerly from Pole 356/18, approximately 120 feet east of Reservoir Street, a distance of approximately 143 feet – conduit. Reason for this work is the owner of 26 Reservoir Street has requested Nstar to underground all of its existing overhead facilities. W.O. #1992885.

Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA for the following: Rogers Street – westerly at intersection of First Street a distance of about 167 Feet – conduit. Installing one new 6x10x8 foot manhole – MHC29880. First Street northerly from WHC29834 approximately 60 feet south of Rogers Street a distance of about 1570 feet-conduit. This work is necessary for system improvement. W.O. #1960341
New Petition Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA for the following: Meadow Way – Northerly side approximately 90 feet east of Larchwood Drive install one (1) pole (424/34.5). Meadow Way – At and westerly from pole 424/34.5, a distance of about 95 feet – conduit to MHC3562 on Larchwood Drive. This work is necessary to correct voltage problem. W.O. #2013628.
New Petition Nstar Electrical and Gas Company, 101 Linwood, Somerville, MA for the following: Allston Street – Southwesterly from Pole 9/3, approximately 15 feet northwest of Grove Street a distance of about 37 feet – conduit. This work is necessary to provide electric service to 240 Sidney Street. W.O. #1993815.

This work is necessary to provide service to 1-3 Langdon Street. W.O. #2007368.
New Petition Verizon New England, Inc., 125 High Street, Oliver Tower, Floor 5, Boston, MA 02110, for (“Synergetic”) the following: Mt. Auburn Street: Place new conduit on the northeasterly side of Mt. Auburn Street from existing manhole, MH216B, approximately 8’ in a northeasterly direction onto private property numbered 81-93 Mt. Auburn Street. Said new conduit is to be placed within the sidewalk area and not within the paved portion of Mt. Auburn Street.
New Petition Verizon New England, Inc., 125 High Street, Oliver Tower, Floor 5, Boston, MA 02110, for (“Synergetic”) the following: “Temple Street”: Place new conduit in Temple Street beginning at existing handhole, HH1, said HH1 being located in the sidewalk area on the southeasterly side of Temple Street, and extending approximately 45’ in a southwesterly direction across Temple Street to private property at #5 Temple Street, said private property being located on the northwesterly side of Temple Street.
New Petition Verizon New England, Inc., 125 High Street, Oliver Tower, Floor 5, Boston, MA 02110, for the following: Massachusetts Avenue to install approximately 64 feet of 3-4” conduit from Verizon Manhole No. 26/100 located at intersection with Essex St., across Massachusetts Avenue to the back of sidewalk at 600 Massachusetts Avenue to enable existing terminals and cables under sidewalk between 600 and 620 Massachusetts Ave. to be moved and coordinated with existing construction at this location.
