Community Meeting on Airplane Noise

State Representatives Marjorie Decker and Jonathan Hecht will host a public meeting on airplane noise on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015 at 6:30pm at the Lesley University Hall Amphitheater (1815 Massachusetts Avenue, 2nd floor). Cambridge representatives to the Logan Airport Community Advisory Committee will present an update to members of the community on the activities being taken in response to the changes in runway usage at Logan Airport and resulting increase in airplane noise over certain areas of Cambridge. In addition to Representatives Decker and Hecht, the meeting will be attended by State Representative David Rogers as well as staff from State Senator Pat Jehlen’s office and Congresswoman Katherine Clark’s office.

This is an informational meeting only, community members with specific complaints about airplane noise should direct them to the Massachusetts Port Authority Noise Abatement Hotline at 617/561-3333 or online.
