Description

Alice's Ordinary People chronicles the life, travails and triumphs of Alice Tregay a Chicago-based leader of the civil rights movement. Ms. Tregay's activism under the banner of the SCLS's Operation Bread Basket paved the way for the election of Mayor Harold Washington, the first African American elected Mayor of Chicago. Event will include a panel discussion.
