Join us for this special event featuring renowned Gullah Geechee Storyteller, Ms. Theresa Hilliard. The Gullah Geechee people are descendants of West African slaves brought to the coasts of Carolinas, Georgia, and Northern Florida, whose geographic isolation helped them retain a distinct culture and language. Gullah storyteller, Theresa Hilliard, has been featured in National Geographic video magazine in 2014 & 2016.
