      Children ages 2-3 and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 45 people. Tickets are available on a first-come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. This program starts promptly, and unfortunately we cannot accommodate latecomers. Unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

      NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING Removal of Public Shade Trees City of Cambridge, Department of Public Works Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, Sections 3 and 4, a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the DPW Main Conference Room at 147 Hampshire Street, Cambridge, Mass., to consider the removal of the following public tree(s): 1. 125 Vassar Street – Removal of 3 Chinese elms (7.6”, 6.6”, & 8.7”) for private property development and streetscape improvements. New street trees will be installed in conjunction with project and within surrounding area. The tree(s) identified above have been posted for public inspection. Any objections to their removal must be submitted in writing to the City Arborist, prior to or during the hearing.       In December we will be reading The Refugees by Viet Thanh Nguyen Reading Interests: The group concentrates on fiction, memoirs, and popular nonfiction. Some of the past selections include: Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng, The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander, and Transatlantic by Colum McCann. Requirements: A love of reading and talking about books. The group is casual and informal. Copies of the book are available at the Main Library circulation desk.
