It's a weekly block party! Join friends to design and build amazing LEGO structures. Get inspired by our monthly theme or let your imagination run wild!
We will take our creations apart at the end of each session. The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own. LEGO pieces are choking hazards for young children. Join a Learning Circle, a study group for learners who want to complete online courses together, in-person. Courses are peer-supported and will be facilitated by a librarian. In this Learning Circle, we will learn the basics of 3D modeling in Tinkercad, a free online 3D design program. We will explore the tools and features of Tinkercad one by one, and then use them to create complex geometry. Participants will have a chance to print one 3D model by the end of the course. Knowledge of how to use a mouse, keyboard, and the internet required. Laptops will be provided. To register, email sbtkacz@cambridgema.gov.
