Six Boston area Mayors and City Managers today jointly announced the formation of the Greater Boston Regional Economic Compact, which will facilitate regional problem solving among the municipalities of Boston, Braintree, Cambridge, Chelsea, Quincy, and Somerville.

Starting on Dec. 8, 2015, the Cambridge Public Health Department is offering free flu vaccine to adults and children (age 6 months and older) by appointment only on Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the department's office, 119 Windsor Street, ground level. FluMist is available for children under age 18.
