Community Schools’ Arts in the Park Sizzles! Week of July 27

Cambridge Community Schools’  popular Arts in the Park program combines craft activities for children with family entertainment introducing  multicultural artists and different forms of performance art. The week of July 27 features these free activities:

 

Monday :  Craft and Play activities 10:00-12:00 Cooper Tot-lot, Hancock St. and Green Rose Park on Harvard St.

 

Tuesday:  Craft and Play 10:00-12:00, Maple Ave. Tot-lot, Green Rose and Dana parks on Magazine St.

Crafts 10:00-11:30  behind Kennedy Longfellow School; special story from O’Connell Library staff at 11:00.

 

Wednesday: Craft and Play 10:00-12:00 at Cooper, Green Rose and Dana parks, and 10:00-11:30 at Kennedy Longfellow.   10:30 at Dana Park is a special activity for  toddlers and preschoolers.

 

Thursday: Craft and Play 10:00-12:00 at Maple Ave., Green Rose and Dana parks, and 10:00-11:30 at Kennedy.  John Bonaparte, magician extrodinaire, will astonish with spells and tricks at Dana Park at 10:30.

 

 Friday: Craft and Play at Cooper, Green Rose and Dana parks.

 

Note: Activities and performances are canceled if it rains.
