The City of Cambridge is seeking residents interested in serving as a member of the Police Review and Advisory Board (PRAB). The Board meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

 

PRAB was created by city ordinance to provide timely, fair and impartial investigations of complaints brought by individuals against police officers.  The Board acts as the representative of the community in reviewing policies, practices and procedures of the Cambridge Police Department. 


Board members serve as volunteers without compensation and assist in education and outreach to improve community confidence in city government in general, and to strengthen community-police relations.  Residents who wish to apply may send a letter of interest/resume by Friday, September 18, 2009 by mail, fax or e-mail to:
