Disability Reframed: A Community Film Series Saturday, Aug. 22
Enjoy a FREE matinee at 2 p.m. in the air-conditioned Citywide Senior Center, 806 Mass. Ave, featuring The Station Agent, a 2003 comedy/drama by Thomas McCarthy. The movie is about a man born with dwarfism who moves into an abandoned train station in rural New Jersey for a life of solitude after his only friend dies. But there he meets a chatty hot dog vendor and a woman dealing with her own personal loss, and the story takes a different twist.
The film will be followed by a lively and engaging discussion, moderated by Stan Eichner.
