Cambridge Works Program Graduates Second Class
Cambridge Works celebrated the accomplishments of its second class of participants during a special ceremony at Cambridge City Hall August 13.
Cambridge Works is a transitional jobs program designed to serve younger residents (age 18-35) who have not been able to get or keep jobs. Coordinated through the Department of Human Service Program’s Office of Workforce Development, Cambridge Works provides participants a temporary job with the city, while also offering intensive case management, soft skills development and job search assistance to help participants secure an unsubsidized job upon program completion.
During the ceremony at City Hall, several city and elected officials congratulated the graduating class who would continue the work of the first class in setting a good example for future participants.
