Adopt-A-Box Kickoff! Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m., Cambridge City Hall

2/19/2010

The Cambridge Post Office, Cambridge Postal Advisory Council and the Cambridge Consumers’ Council invites you to participate in our Adopt- A- Box initiative kicking off Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m., in the Sullivan Chamber of Cambridge City, 795 Massachusetts Ave.

This program is being implemented in an effort to continue beautifying Cambridge neighborhoods. We are inviting individuals, households, neighborhood associations and business owners to “adopt” a blue collection box or a green relay box, many of which sit directly in front of homes and businesses.  Adopters help us identify any needed repair issues or acts of vandalism so we can take the appropriate action to keep postal boxes looking like new! Please join us at the Kickoff event to learn more about the program or to adopt your own box!
