The Community Development Department is conducting a study of North Massachusetts Avenue (Beech Street to the Arlington line), to explore ways to improve the character of the corridor through potential streetscape improvements, possible new zoning and urban design guidelines, and strategies for supporting retail in the area.

The second public meeting will be held on Thursday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Peabody Elementary School Cafeteria, 70 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge MA, 02140.

The meeting will include a review of the issues and concerns that came out of the first meeting as well as a discussion about possible approaches to improving the overall character of the Avenue.
