City Manager Seeks Members for Committee on Public Planting
City Manager Robert W. Healy seeks Cambridge residents and local professionals interested in serving on the Committee on Public Planting. The role of the Committee is to promote and improve the quality and diversity of public plantings throughout all areas of the City.
The Committee has been active for nearly 28 years and consists of 11-21 members (to include the City Arborist or Public Works representative; a representative from the Community Development Department; a representative from the City’s Open Space Committee when possible; and Cambridge residents). Preference is given to members with horticulture or practical experience, or interest in urban forestry and landscape issues.
