Cambridge Riverfront Plan: Reconnecting People to the Water.

The City of Cambridge is seeking applications from qualified Mobile Food Truck or Cart operators to lease public parking locations on certain City streets adjacent to riverfront parks from which to sell freshly-prepared food and beverages to the general public.
Spaces will be made available to Cambridge-licensed and permitted mobile food operators on Sundays through October 2011. Operators will apply to participate in the program and qualifying operators will be offered spaces to lease on a week-by-week basis.  A per-day fee will be charged for use of the spaces. These spaces are being made available as a pilot program, which will be evaluated by City staff to determine whether and how a future program might be implemented.
