Enjoy Sunday Parkland Games Near Weeks Footbridge June 16 - Sept. 29

The Charles River Conservancy and the Department of Conservation and Recreation will host The Sunday Parkland Games, which include free games and athletic activities for all ages and ability levels, from June 16 - Sept. 29, 3:30 – 6 p.m., close to the Weeks Footbridge.

The adjacent Memorial Drive is closed to cars, thus creating a safer and more accessible playing space. The Games gives both children and adults the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Parklands, while enjoying a rich array of fun and healthy activities, including badminton, bocce, croquet, Frisbee®, horseshoes, hula hoops, lawn toss and paddleball, along with team activities such as potato sack races and tug-o-war. Enjoy free yoga classes under the shade of the sycamores from 5-6 p.m.
