Cambridge GLBT Pride Brunch June 8

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Commission has been developed since 1983, with its establishment as the GLBT Commission for the City of Cambridge in 2005.

The Cambridge GLBT Commission and the Mayor's Office invite you to the 23rd Annual Pride Brunch on Saturday, June 8, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Cambridge City Hall, Sullivan Chamber, 795 Massachusetts Ave. We will have delicious food provided by local establishments and a few short speeches celebrating the progress for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people in Cambridge, the nation and the world.

The annual Bayard Rustin Award will be presented to a person of color with an outstanding history of service to the Cambridge GLBT Community.  Community recognition awards and the Rose Lipkin award to a Cambridge Rindge and Latin School student will also be presented.

Free bus rides will be provided to the Pride March in Boston immediately following the Brunch.
