Special State Primary Election May 28


Be sure you are registered to vote!

The Special State Primary will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 for the office of State Representative for Eight Suffolk District to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of State Representative Martha Marty Walz.  The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.


Absentee Ballots are available from the Cambridge Election Commission located at 51 Inman St.   Any voter who is unable to go to the polls on Election Day due to physical disability, religious belief, or absence from the City may request an Absentee Ballot from the Commission. 

The deadline to apply for an Absentee Ballot is Friday, May 24, at 5 p.m. The Election Commission office will be open extended hours for Absentee Voting on Friday, May 24, from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Absentee Ballots may be mailed to voters, or such voters may choose to vote at the Commission office during regular city office hours: Monday, 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. – Noon.
