Please check links below for road closures in Boston and Cambridge July 3-4, the Boston events schedule plus helpful tips to enjoy a fun and safe holiday.

Cammbridge families with children ages 4-12 are invited to enjoy FREE activities Thursday, July 4, at 9:45 a.m. at several locations:
Donnelly Field,  61 Willow St., East Cambridge;        
Glacken Field, 695 Huron Ave., West Cambridge;
Hoyt Field, 12 Gilmore St., in the Riverside Community
Youth ages 4 – 12 are encouraged to participate in the exciting annual races, as well as, the doll carriage and bike parade. All youth participating in the races will receive a prize, and all youth participating in the doll and bike parade will receive a Cambridge Recreation T-Shirt. Don’t be late! Don’t miss out! Boston’s Fourth of July festivities will feature concerts on July 3 & 4. Some Cambridge residents prefer to enjoy the concert and fireworks from the Cambridge side of the Charles River, which will feature sound towers, food concessions, restrooms and excellent views of the fireworks.
