Cambridge Announces New Mobile Website, Plus New Websites for Water and 22-CityView
The City of Cambridge recently launched a mobile version of its website, www.cambridgema.gov. Interested users can enter “City of Cambridge MA” or “cambridgema.gov” into their smart phone or tablet browser and the City of Cambridge mobile website will appear.
The new mobile website features a scaled down version of the website with easy access to popular links such as City Calendar, Important Phone Numbers and Pay Online. The City and three departments, Library, Police and Public Works have customized designs on the mobile site. With the new mobile site, users no longer have to scrolling or swipe their screen to navigate the full website. However, for those who prefer viewing the full site, that option is also available from a link at the bottom of the new mobile website.
New Websites for Cambridge Water Department and 22-CityView
The city’s Water Department this week launched a newly redesigned site, http://www.cambridgema.gov/water, featuring an Upcoming Events section and information on various projects and programs. Find out how to get more involved with activities at Fresh Pond and sign up to get updates from the department’s new Twitter feed.
22-CityView’s colorful new website, www.cambridgema.gov/22cityview, features daily broadcast schedules, a section to request copies of 22-CityView shows and live stream of the channel. As the site progresses, users can also find post production stills and preview clips for upcoming programs.
