Cambridge Police Officer Retires After 30 Years on Patrol

A veteran of the Cambridge Police Department is retiring after 30 years patrolling Cambridge streets.Marshall Roll Call

Officer Glenn Marshall was joined by fellow officers, family, and friends at the Cambridge Police Officer Robert “Bo” Ahern North Cambridge Reporting Station as he gave his ceremonial last roll call briefing on June 25, 2013.

Marshall, who became a patrol officer in Cambridge in 1983, was joined by his sons Glenn and Daniel.  Daniel followed in his father’s footsteps and is now a member of the Cambridge Police Department, where he serves as a detective.

Commissioner Robert C. Haas and members of the department’s Command Staff attended Marshall’s last roll call to offer words of thanks and well wishes as he begins the next chapter in his life.
