Yard Waste Collection Ends for Season
Yard Waste Collection Ends December 13
Time is running out to finish up your fall yard cleaning! Separate yard waste collection ends on Friday, December 13. Place yard waste in barrels marked with City-issued stickers facing the street, or in lawn refuse bags sold in most hardware stores. Yard waste is not accepted in plastic bags by recycling or rubbish crews. Barrels and bags must be set on the curb apart from the trash. Do not staple or tape bags. Bundle small twigs and branches with string.
Yard waste is banned from landfills and incinerators in Massachusetts and is composted locally.
