On 8/13/09 at 12:22 AM, a resident of Fairmont St reported her daughter was shot with a BB gun while in East Cambridge.

On 8/13/09 at 12:40 AM, police were dispatched to a residence at Roosevelt Towers for a disturbance.  It was determined that a domestic Assault and Battery occurred between boyfriend and girlfriend.

 

Unarmed Robbery

On 8/13/09 at 1:38 AM, a resident of Jay St. reported that an unknown person attempted to rob him while he was walking on River St. near William St.

On 8/13/09 at 2:13 AM, a resident of Magazine St. reported an unknown male broke several sections of his wooden fence outside of his home.

 

Possession of a Firearm

On 8/13/09 at 3:52 AM, 20-year-old Henry Delgardo of 45 River St. and 21-year-old Ruben Atkinson of 6 Putnam Gardens were arrested for both being in possession of a loaded firearm without a license to carry or FID card. They were arrested while on Bank St. and Flagg St.

 

Domestic Dispute

On 8/13/09 at 7:01 AM, police responded to a Harvard St. address for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival it was discovered a mother and son had been in a verbal altercation which was about household responsibilities.  The son voluntarily left the residence.

 

Abuse Prevention Violation

On 8/13/09 at 8:18 AM, 31-year-old Juan Cardona of 6 Kenilworth St. Roxbury, MA was placed under arrest for violating a restraining order. Cardona entered his ex-girlfriend's apartment on Thorndike St. through an unlocked door in violation of the order.

On 8/13/09 at 11:32 AM, a Lambert St. resident reported an unknown person(s) damaged his motor vehicle while parked on Lambert St.

On 8/13/09 at 11:55 AM, a Brighton, MA resident reported that while her motor vehicle was parked at Clinton St. near Harvard St. an unknown person(s) removed a laptop computer and printer from the trunk.

On 8/13/09 at 12:01 PM, an Oxford St. resident reported that a motor vehicle struck her  Zip Car while it was parked on Everett St. near Mass. Ave.

On 8/13/09 at 1:41 PM, an employee working for Budget Rent-A-Car located on Sidney St. reported that earlier in the day an angry customer threatened him after becoming irate when informed of some surcharges for returning a rental late.

On 8/13/09 at 5:00 PM, a Memorial Dr. resident reported his company received numerous UPS packages as return to sender containing numerous Western Union money order checks made out to numerous unknown person(s).

On 8/13/09 at 6:40 PM, police responded to the front of the Cheesecake Factory at Cambridgeside for a male who had a fight with his girlfriend.  The girlfriend left the area with their child.  No physical abuse was reported.

On 8/13/09 at 6:51 PM, police observed a male and female arguing and pushing each other. The parties were separated.

On 8/13/09 at 7:21 PM, police responded to Hoyt Field to assist in a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. No physical violence was reported.

On 8/13/09 at 8:12 PM, a Marcella Wy. resident reported an unknown person(s) entered her residence via forcing the rear apartment door. Nothing in the apartment was disturbed or missing.
