The following are some of the programs and resources the Cambridge Police Department encourages parents and families to consider in our to protect their children:

Cambridge Child Safety Seat Installations:

To make arrangements to have your child safety seats checked for proper installation, please call Officer Carlos Figueroa at 617-349-3238.

The Sentry Kids Fingerprint System:

This provides the ability to electronically photograph and fingerprint children and print a document for the parents of the child. This portable system is utilized both in the schools as well as at community events. For further information, or to request the program for your community event, please contact Sergeant Kathleen Murphy at 617-349-3204 or by email.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children:

Please check out photographs of missing children from Massachussetts and around the country at www.missingkids.org

Child Passenger Safety Information:

Seat Belts and Child Safety Seats save lives and are the law in Massachusetts. Please buckle up. For more information, visit Mass.gov.

Sex Offender Information:

To view a list of Registered Level 3 Sex Offenders who live or work in Cambridge follow these steps:

Go to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board's web site: http://sorb.chs.state.ma.us/ and (after reading the User Acknowledgement and Acceptance page) click <<I Agree>>.
Next, enter Cambridge in the City Name field and click on the Submit button.
To view detailed information about an offender you may click on the Detail button to the right of their name.
