Community Relations is charged with implementing the basic goals of Community Policing by actively engaging the community's participation in identifying problems and solutions. These partnerships are formed by establishing liaisons with community groups and formal organizations. Community Relations accomplishes this mission through the utilization of specially trained personnel.
In addition to the close collaboration between the personnel of Community Relations and the community, the outreach efforts are achieved through various programs. Among these programs are:
