Interlibrary Loan

If a title is more than twelve months old and not available in the Minuteman Library Network, you can request it through Point-to-Point. Point-to-Point is another way to access materials in participating regions of Massachusetts. Please provide an email address so we can let you know when your title arrives. You may have three Point-to-Point requests active at a given time.

If the item is not available through Point-to-Point, it may be requested through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). ILL provides access to the holdings of public and academic libraries throughout the continental United States. The purpose of this service is to strengthen the depth of offerings available to individuals who want to explore a topic in greater detail than the scope of the Cambridge Public Library or the Minuteman Network collections can support. ILL is neither intended to nor can it replace access to the research facilities of an academic system.

You may request ILL materials in person or online. You may have one request active at a given time. Materials can take 3-6 weeks to arrive. We will send you an email when your title arrives.
