Tax Assistance

Update from HarvardVITA: "Unfortunately, HarvardVITA is not taking new appointments at this time. The demand for this program was much higher than expected. As of February 26th, 2024, we are fully booked through April. If you have completed a consultation form but have yet to receive a call, we will call you back. If we determine on the consultation call that you qualify for our services, you will be offered an April appointment if available."

Harvard Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) student volunteers will provide free tax assistance at the Cambridge Public Library from February 12 to April 17, 2024, on most Mondays 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Appointments are required. Starting Saturday, February 3, an intake form will be available on the Harvard VITA website: https://www.harvardvita.org/tax-assistance. Volunteers will call those who have filled out the form to assess their tax preparation needs and assign the appointment slots.
