Additionally, consumers, students, and professionals are provided with descriptions of and links to many pertinent websites, selected for their usefulness and appropriateness.

Created specifically for students, knowledgeable consumer health researchers, and health care professionals, Health Reference Center Academic integrates millions of articles from a wide range of full-text nursing and allied health journals, newspapers, magazines, newsletters and select consumer health information sources with full-text reference works and hundreds of health-related multimedia. The Gale Virtual Reference Library includes online access to medical reference books such as the Gale Encyclopedia of Alternative Medicine (2nd ed.), the Gale Encyclopedia of Cancer (2nd ed.), the Gale Encyclopedia of Genetic Disorders (2nd ed.), and the Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine (3rd ed.). This Gale PowerSearch will search both of these databases simultaneously.
