The City of Cambridge issued FY 2006 real and personal property tax bills on October 17, 2005.  The first half portion is due and payable on November 16, 2005.  The second half portion is due and payable on May 1, 2006.

The Revenue Division is responsible for collecting and recording all of the City's receivables in a timely and accurate manner and providing a high level of customer service to taxpayers requesting assistance.  During the course of a year, the Division issues more than 250,000 bills and notices and processes over $296 million in receipts.  The office files for title accounts and works with the Law Department to initiate tax title and foreclosure procedures for severly delinquent properties in order ot protect the CIty's legal interests.
