What records are available to the public?

Information regarding election results, election procedures, census and voter registration, campaign and political finance reports, ethics filings, and board minutes are available to the public.

What are the costs for public documents?

The fees for public documents are as follows:

Street Listing (Hardcopy & CD)
  • Elected Officials, Candidates and Political Organizations: One Courtesy Copy
  • All other persons or organizations:
    • Book (Regular or Spiral Bind): $55.00
    • CD: $20.00
Electronic Voter List (CD)
  • Elected Officials, Candidates and Political Organizations: One courtesy copy per election plus supplemental after deadline for registration
  • All other persons or organizations: $20
Hardcopy Voter List (as of July 1)
  • Elected Officials, Candidates and Political Organizations: One courtesy copy per election plus supplemental after deadline for registration
  • All other persons or organizations:
    • Single precinct: $0.75
    • Single Ward: $2.00
    • Entire List: $15.00
Voter History Files (CD)
  • Starting with November 1998: $10
Maps (Ward and Precinct, State Senate, State Representative Districts)
  • Elected Officials, Candidates and Political Organizations: One courtesy copy per election
  • All other persons or organizations: $0.25 each, or provided at no cost to purchasers of Street Listing and/or Voter List
  • Maps are also available to download for free: Maps and Polling Locations
Alphabetical Street Index (Hardcopy)
  • Elected Officials, Candidates and Political Organizations: One courtesy copy per election
  • All other persons or organizations: $2.50
Additional Materials
  • Certified Letters of Residency: $2.00
  • Copies of all other materials: $0.20 per page
