Engineering Overview

The objective of the Engineering and Program Development Division is as follows: (1) to provide short and long term planning related to capital improvements and to implement said projects, (2) to develop and maintain accurate maps, records and other documentation, (3) to provide technical services and design and construction services, (4) to provide operations and maintenance support for the various facilities, (5) to provide program development and implementation services, such as the ongoing Cross Connection Prevention program, and (6) to coodinate planning, design and construction projects with other City departments.
