Elementary School Programs
The Commission staff is available to make educational presentations to students in public and private schools in Cambridge. Programs may focus on a variety of historical periods and movements (the settlement of Cambridge, the immigrant experience in the nineteenth century, neighborhood history); mini research projects (using historic resources and archives to construct a narrative); and walking tours around the school’s neighborhood (focusing on history and/or architecture). The staff is happy to work with you to create the best program for your students.
