Cambridge Fire Badge

The City of Cambridge is currently recruiting applicants to take the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Open Competitive Municipal Service Written Examination for Firefighters on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The early application deadline is February 7, 2018, with an application fee of $200. Applications will be accepted no later than February 21, 2018 with a fee of $250.

In conjunction with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division, we will sponsor a Candidate Open House information session Tuesday, January 23, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., at Cambridge City Hall, Sullivan Chamber, 795 Massachusetts Ave.

Representatives from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division (HRD), the Cambridge Fire Department and the Cambridge Personnel Department will be on hand to answer questions about this exciting career opportunity.
