Managing Drugs and Alcohol in the Workplace

Representatives of Cambridge businesses are invited to attend "Managing Drugs and Alcohol in the Workplace," a workshop co-sponsored by the Community Development Department and the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. 

Facilitated by the Associated Industries of Massachusetts, the workshop will address how businesses will be affected by the legalization of the possession and recreational use of marijuana in Massachusetts. Topics will include how the new legislation will impact businesses, how employers in other states have handled the legal recreational use of marijuana, how to properly conduct drug testing, and best practices for managing employees who suffer from drug and alcohol abuse.

Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to participate and registration is free.
