Mayor E. Denise Simmons and City Manager Louis A. DePasquale are asking residents and businesses of Cambridge to contribute to helping support residents of Puerto Rico who have been devastated by Hurricane Maria.

Recovery from this storm is going to take significant resources and time. The needs of Puerto Rico are going to be great and will evolve as the rebuilding process begins. One way to get immediate support to the victims is by donating to established organizations that are on the ground helping the victims, such as the “United for Puerto Rico” Fund created by the First lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló, among other organizations. The City is not affiliated with any of these organizations or collecting any donations for them, but is providing this information if you are interested in making a donation to an established organization.

Residents and businesses can donate at:

United for Puerto Rico
