Rendering of Cambridge Street Separated Bicycle Facility

The City of Cambridge will be installing a bicycle safety demonstration project on Cambridge Street from Quincy Street to Antrim Street in Inman Square.  Implementation of this project is expected to begin the night of August 20, 2017, weather permitting, as dry weather is needed for the installation of the paint and flex posts that will delineate the separated bicycle facility.

Parking restrictions will be posted the standard 48-hours ahead of construction for this project, with temporary restrictions in place where parking spaces will remain, and permanent restrictions where parking spaces will be removed to accommodate the installation of the bicycle facility.

For additional information on the project, and to see the project plans, please visit the City of Cambridge Community Development Department’s Cambridge Street Bicycle Safety Demonstration Project web page.
