Preparation for the installation of bike safety improvements on Massachusetts Avenue from Beech Street to Alewife Brook Parkway will begin the evening of Thursday, September 21st.  Expect temporary overnight parking restrictions along Mass Ave starting on September 21st and continuing intermittently through the following week. All temporary parking restrictions will be posted.

The bicycle safety improvements include on-street bicycle lanes, green pavement markings at intersections and short sections of separated bike lanes.  Permanent parking impacts are minimal and limited to the North curb of Massachusetts Avenue near Linear Park past Cameron Ave.
